Our groomers are trained to use de-shedding tools in a way that removes loose undercoat without pulling or damaging the guard hair layer. We do not shave or clip double coats as part of de-shedding — shaving a double coat can permanently damage its structure and impair the coat’s ability to regulate temperature.
